Kurt Bartenbach

Prof Dr Kurt Bartenbach, the founding partner, focuses on intellectual property law, in particular employee invention law (inventor remuneration, corporate guidelines, group inventions – according to JUVE 2013/2014 “the measure of all things in employee invention law”), licensing contract law and the law of research and development contracts. He is co-author of various commentaries on these topics that are recognized as standard works. He also specialises in expert opinions and mediation. Prof Dr Kurt Bartenbach is honorary professor at the University of Cologne and lecturer at the University of Düsseldorf. He is also Chairman of the Expert Committee for Inventors’ Law of the GRUR and a member of the working group of the Federal Ministry of Justice on the reform of the ArbEG.
