Markus Beaumart

Markus Beaumart is a lawyer and partner at Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner. Since July 2018, Markus Beaumart has been a partner in the area of real estate law and construction law at the Cologne office. He moved from DLA Piper to the Practice Areas Plant Construction, Real Estate and M&A of FGvW in Cologne with partners Arnt Göppert, Uwe Steingröver and Jörn Zons. Markus Beaumart began his legal career in 1996 in the Cologne office of the (then) law firm Oppenhoff & Rädler. At the end of 2004, he was one of the first lawyers to join the newly founded Cologne office of DLA Piper. Markus Beaumart provides comprehensive advice on real estate law. He has many years of experience in purchase and sale projects and in real estate project development. In addition, Markus Beaumart advises national and international companies on plant construction and infrastructure projects, often in the energy sector. The latter includes representation before courts and arbitration tribunals. He is a member of the German Arbitration Institute (Deutsches Institut für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e.V.). (DIS) and speaks German, English and French.
