Edward J. Schneidman

Edward J. Schneidman is of counsel in the Corporate and Real Estate Groups in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His experience includes all aspects of corporate and securities laws with a focus on real estate capital markets-related matters. He has extensive experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital formation and public offering activities for REITs and other real estate-oriented companies. He has also advised clients on corporate and partnership liquidations and reorganizations, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, as well as general corporate governance and compliance. Edward has been described as having “superb business judgment and according to clients ‘works people around to the right position in a gentlemanly way, enabling deals to get done more smoothly’” by Chambers USA.
