Corporate and Commercial Litigation
Stephen Gaudreau understands business, and uses his business judgment to tailor his strategy to each of his clients’ commercial needs. This entails looking for the most cost effective and timely solutions to his clients’ disputes without sacrificing their objectives. He is a firm believer that there is always a solution to his clients’ problems, and he will work tirelessly to find it. With this approach, Stephen has had great success obtaining early resolutions to his clients’ legal issues without compromising a client’s right to be heard in Court.
Stephen provides counsel for shareholder disputes, the oppression remedy, contract disputes, fraud, debt litigation, injunctions, enforcement of judgments, and CCAA matters. His clients range from multi-national corporations to family owned businesses. Stephen has appeared on cases ranging from a multi-million-dollar Sears Canada oppression remedy lawsuit to multi-faceted family disputes.
Whether he is helping his clients navigate through the court system, negotiate a resolution to a dispute or speaking on their behalf in court, Stephen will take the time to evaluate his clients’ issues, present options for solutions, and give straight-forward advice.
