Biography

Stephen Cross is a partner in Gowlings' Ottawa office, practising in the areas of business and intellectual property law. He is a member of the firm's Technology Law Group and has particular expertise in the areas of technology contracting.

Stephen specializes in the preparation and negotiation of technology, intellectual property and other commercial agreements including licences, service agreements, cloud computing agreements, software as a service agreements, development agreements, implementation agreements, sales channels agreements and publishing agreements. Stephen also provides advice to non-profit corporations with respect to corporate, operational and technology matters.
