Dillon & Findley was founded in 1990 as a litigation law firm serving clients throughout Alaska. We have built a strong reputation for professionalism, ethical conduct and successful outcomes.

All of our attorneys love practicing law and work passionately to maintain the professional image of attorneys in the eyes of the public through our words and actions. Our reputation in the legal community and among our current and former clients attests that we are:

Resourceful — To prosecute complex cases successfully, a law firm must possess two types of resources: legal and financial. Our legal resources include some of the finest attorneys in Alaska, who are proficient in examining and cross-examining experts across diverse fields of expertise on even hyper-technical points of fact or conjecture. Our trial and appellate expertise allows our attorneys to litigate cases at the administrative, trial court, and appellate court levels. In addition, our financial resources allow us to invest in meritorious cases without worrying about the overhead costs of litigation.

Professional — Dillon & Findley is committed to excellence across all of our areas of practice. Our attorneys have received prestigious recognition for professionalism and ethics. Our trained and dedicated support staff provides focused personal attention to each client, from the beginning of the case to the end.

Successful — In the 25 plus years that Dillon & Findley has managed complex cases, we have been highly successful in obtaining appropriate compensation and relief for our clients. This includes several instances where the injuries were so catastrophic that justice could only be served by an award in the millions of dollars.

Our attorneys are skilled at effectively and efficiently resolving disputes. Dillon & Findley has been behind precedent-setting litigation that has shaped Alaska oil and gas law, tort law, insurance bad faith, and employment law. We have resolved numerous cases in excess of a million dollars. We have successfully litigated complex ad valorem taxation issues including a complex multi-billion dollar valuation of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. We were local counsel for the State of Alaska in the successful litigation against the tobacco industry and have prevailed in several large class action cases against the insurance industry.

Having had the opportunity to flourish in Alaska, we believe in giving back to our communities and to our profession in the form of continuing legal education, service to the Alaska Bar Association and commitment to providing legal services to those less fortunate.
