Professional Experience:
Bill received his BBA degree in 1998 and an LLB degree in 1992 from the University of New Brunswick. He was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1993. Bill received his Queen's Counsel designation in 2018.
Bill practices in the areas of Corporate/Commercial Law, Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law. He particularly enjoys advising small and medium sized business owners and their families in such matters as financings, mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, regulatory matters, governance advice, succession planning and general legal advice.
Bill has served the legal profession as an instructor at the Bar Admission Course, as a member of the New Brunswick Law Society Planning Law Advisory Committee, and has presented at New Brunswick Law Society Continuing Legal Education programs. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Saint John Law Society.
