Mr. Scavone represents financial institutions in complex, multi-million dollar secured loans involving real estate, including mortgage, acquisition, development and construction loans for projects as diverse as shopping centers, apartment projects, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, residential developments, golf courses, ski resorts, and gas stations. He also has extensive experience with mortgage warehousing lines of credit and commercial real estate loan workouts, foreclosures, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure.
Mr. Scavone also represents clients in complex real estate transactions, including purchases and sales of real estate for cash or on land contract, involving real estate from single family homes to multi-million dollar commercial properties. He has handled numerous commercial leases for landlords and tenants, including leases of office, retail and manufacturing space, ground leases and subleases. He has also represented owners and developers in construction related matters.
Mr. Scavone was Associate Editor in 1990-1991and Notes Editor in 1991-1992 of the Indiana Law Journal.
