My education and experiences combine an undergraduate engineering degree, and experience as a practicing engineer working for USEPA air programs, with my law degree. Over the last 35 years as an environmental attorney I have had significant experience in most areas of environmental law and litigation. The four most prominent areas of my practice have been (1) counseling corporate clients on their compliance requirements and duties; (2) aiding in the environmental, health and safety aspects of corporate and real estate transactions; (3) environmental litigation; and (4) obtaining incentives for redevelopment projects, focused mainly in brownfield sites.
Environmental counsel for major lenders — I have served as environmental counsel in hundreds of transactions for lenders taking real estate collateral, which in many cases has been environmentally impaired. This has ranged from small individual plant sites to large multi site fuel station portfolios and multi plant site manufacturing locations.
