Ted Pettit is a director and shareholder. He concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, business reorganization, collections, and commercial litigation.
He has authored numerous legal publications including Hawai‘i Collection and Bankruptcy Law Manual (4th ed., 2013) and Foreclosure & Related Remedies, Hawai‘i Chapter (2011, American Bar Association).
Mr. Pettit advises and represents lenders, debtors, landlords, secured creditors, creditor committees and liquidating trusts in a variety of industries. Mr. Pettit has extensive experience in large bankruptcy cases, cross-border insolvency matters, receiverships and judicial foreclosure proceedings, and collection of judgments.
Ted Pettit was one of the founders and was the first president of the Hawai‘i Bankruptcy Bar Association (2011).
