Most recently, Rachel has:
--Assisted a large government business enterprise to defend breach of contract claims, NSW Contract of Carriage Tribunal proceedings and complex adverse action proceedings in the Federal Circuit Court
--Acted for a large transport company in successfully defending breach of enterprise agreement proceedings with significant implications for future business restructuring
--Successfully defended Federal Court proceedings commenced by a union seeking declarations as to coverage of an enterprise agreement which, if successful, would have imposed significant restraints on business flexibility
--Made submissions to the Federal Government on behalf of a large employer with an employer-sponsored superannuation fund regarding the implications of proposed changes to superannuation legislation affecting superannuation provisions in modern awards and enterprise agreements, resulting in a favourable change to the legislation
--Successfully resolved a contentious senior executive termination for a not-for-profit organisation without resort to litigation
--Appeared for employers in the airline industry in award modernisation and award review proceedings from 2009 to 2013.
Rachel recently completed short courses in strategy and management at Harvard.
