Gray T. Culbreath is a shareholder in the Columbia, South Carolina office of Gallivan White and Boyd. His practice is focused on complex civil trials and appeals. He regularly handles cases in the areas of product liability, class action and commercial litigation. He also has an active Appellate practice.
After graduation from the University of South Carolina School of Law, Mr. Culbreath served as a Captain in the United States Army, Judge Advocate Generals Corp from 1988 until 1992 where he served as a trial defense counsel in trying over 60 cases to verdict. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1988 and Wofford College in 1985.
Mr. Culbreath has been named as a South Carolina Super Lawyer for products liability and personal injury defense. He is listed in the Best Lawyers of America since 2009 for products liability, bet the company and commercial litigation. He has also been the recipient of the South Carolina Lawyers Weekly Leadership in Law Award as well as the Gold Compleat Lawyer Award from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
In addition to the FDCC, Mr. Culbreath is a member of ABOTA and DRI as well as Lawyers for Civil Justice. He served as President of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association from November of 2010 until November of 2011.
