Brian M. Schwartz is located in Summit, New Jersey. He has been actively involved in the practice of Family Law for nearly 20 years. In 2013, after over a decade of service on the Family Law Executive Committee, Mr. Schwartz became the Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section. During his tenure, he actively negotiated the terms of the new alimony bill, which became the law of New Jersey in September 2014. But that is only part of his service to the practice of Family Law – he has served as the Executive Editor of the prestigious New Jersey Family Lawyer; he has four times been a faculty member for the AICPA Expert Witness Program; he has lectured frequently to professionals for fifteen years, including his selection to teach new lawyers about Family Law six times. Mr. Schwartz has taken this vast experience and utilized it to assist his clients through the very difficult areas of divorce, custody, alimony, domestic violence and equitable distribution. Mr. Schwartz has been voted by his peers as a Best Lawyer in America® since 2012 and has been named a Super Lawyer® since 2006. His firm has been voted a Tier One firm by Best Law Firms in America®. Mr. Schwartz received his B.A. from the George Washington University and his J.D. for the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
