Ben’s earlier experience as a trial lawyer at Frei, Mims & Perushek, L.L.P., a boutique plaintiff’s firm, involved comprehensive engagement throughout litigation. He assessed case merit, managed crucial witness depositions, and tried several cases to juries. His exceptional skills have earned recognition, including being named in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 in Virginia – Civil Plaintiff since 2020 and as a Virginia Super Lawyers: Rising Star in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice since 2023.
Beyond his legal work, Ben actively serves his community. He holds positions on the Fairfax Bar Association Board of Directors and the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Conference Board of Governors. Additionally, he has been coaching the Meridian (formerly George Mason) High School mock trial team since 2018, achieving a state championship during his tenure.
Ben’s legal journey includes a clerkship under the Honorable Louise M. DiMatteo of the Arlington County Circuit Court in Virginia. He graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University School of Law, where he also served as president of the Trial Advocacy Association. Ben holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before pursuing his legal education, Ben dedicated time to teaching English to middle school students in a rural area of southwest China.
