Zach Allen is a director in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Since 1988, Mr. Allen has concentrated his practice in commercial real estate lending, leasing, development and sales transactions, in which he represents a diverse range of clients, inluding developers, purchasers, owners, tenants and lenders. He is licensed and actively practices in both Oklahoma and Texas and regularly handles multi-state matters. He is board-certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. Allen's typical representations include:

    • Representation of shopping center owners in lease transactions with numerous national and regional retail tenants.
    • Representation of lenders and owners in connection with real estate secured loan transactions, including frequently acting as borrower's counsel in connnection with CMBS loans in several states.
    • Representation of a national retailer in the negotiation of shopping center leases nationwide.
    • Acting as lead leasing counsel for major office building owners.
    • Representation of purchasers of distressed CMBS loans and foreclosed properties in various states.
    • Represention of institutional lenders in real estate secured loan transactions in over 20 states.
    • Representation of buyers and sellers in connection with the sale of undeveloped, office, retail, multifamily and other commercial properties.

    Mr. Allen is member of the State Bar of Oklahoma, Oklahoma County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section), Dallas Bar Association (Real Property Section) and the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section).

    Mr. Allen’s professional recognitions for his achievements include:

Previously, Mr. Allen served on the Norman Public School Foundation Board of Directors, the Norman Youth Soccer Association Board of Directors and the Alcohol Advisory Committee for the University of Oklahoma.

      He received his Bachelors of Business Administration with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 and received his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1988, where he was Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of Air Law and Commerce.
