Yvonne Van Gemmern

Yvonne van Gemmern is an attorney at Vossius & Partner Patentanwälte Rechtsanwälte mbB in Düsseldorf. Admitted to the bar in 2023, she advises national and international clients on matters related to intellectual property law, including patent and other IP disputes. Her practice focuses on contentious infringement and invalidity proceedings, and she represents clients in both judicial and extrajudicial matters before German courts and the Unified Patent Court. Ms. van Gemmern studied law at the University of Münster and spent time abroad in Istanbul and London during her legal studies. She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, where she further developed her interest in intellectual property law. During this period, she gained practical experience working with a major German television broadcaster and an international patent law boutique. Before joining Vossius & Partner Patentanwälte Rechtsanwälte mbB, Ms. van Gemmern worked as a research assistant in the intellectual property practice groups of several international commercial law firms in Düsseldorf and Brussels. Her work today includes advising and representing clients from a range of industries in intellectual property law matters, particularly in complex patent disputes and related proceedings.
