Yasmin D’Costa is an Associate in the Advocacy & Litigation group at Farris LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her practice includes commercial and civil litigation and Family Law, with a focus on helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate complex disputes and sensitive legal matters.
Yasmin represents clients in matters involving family law disputes, commercial litigation, shareholder and contractual disputes, and international arbitration. She regularly assists clients with high net worth family law matters involving corporate structures, business interests, and real estate holdings. Her practice also includes alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
Yasmin has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and works with both individual and corporate clients across a range of industries. She is committed to providing practical and strategic legal guidance tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Yasmin earned her LLB from the University of Surrey in England in 2017 and completed the National Committee on Accreditation qualification exams in 2020. Before joining Farris LLP in 2023, she practised at a full-service international law firm in Vancouver and previously worked with national and boutique law firms in the United Kingdom.
Yasmin is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia.
