Yasmin D'Costa

Yasmin D’Costa is an associate in the Advocacy & Litigation group at Farris LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation as well as Family Law, with experience assisting clients through complex and sensitive disputes.

Yasmin has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and has experience with alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. Her work also includes international commercial arbitration matters. She advises individuals and corporate clients across a range of commercial industries and regularly assists with high net worth family law matters involving corporate interests and real estate.

Yasmin earned her LLB from the University of Surrey in England in 2017 and completed the National Committee on Accreditation qualification exams in 2020. Before joining Farris LLP in 2023, she practised at a full-service international law firm in Vancouver and previously worked with both national and boutique firms in the United Kingdom.

Yasmin is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia.
