Biography
Yann-Julien Chouinard practice focuses on construction and infrastructure law.
He acted for owners, general contractors, trade contractors and suppliers in matters such as contractual disputes, claims for additional costs or delays, construction defects, construction lien and procurement disputes.
He is also regularly called upon to draft, revise and negotiate construction contracts for private developers, crown corporations, construction contractors and service providers. Yann-Julien advises Canadian and foreign companies on their involvement in construction and infrastructure projects in Quebec and assists industry stakeholders in creating joint ventures.
Yann-Julien received his LL.L and J.D. from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Québec bar in 2016. He is a member of the Québec Bar and Canadian Bar Association.Overview
