William W. Weisner is chair of Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s Real Estate practice and a partner in the Construction and Commercial Finance Groups. He represents lenders, owners, investors, developers, landlords and tenants on commercial real estate matters. His practice also includes financings, workouts and restructurings, sales and purchases, partnerships and joint ventures, leasing transactions and many other types of real estate transactions.
Bill's practice focuses on identifying creative, practical and efficient solutions to real estate issues and being attentive to clients' needs and concerns. In response to the impacts of COVID-19, Bill's practice also includes representing landlords and tenants in lease workout negotiations, including tenant requests for rent relief and representing property owners in discussions with lenders concerning payment relief due to the loss of revenue.
Bill has extensive experience handling complex construction, term and mezzanine loans, syndications and purchases of co-lending interests, and loan participations relating to assets located throughout the United States.
Bill serves as an advisor to investors, owners and developers on the acquisition and sale of properties, negotiating design and construction contracts to develop commercial property, structuring equity and preferred equity investments, and negotiation of joint ventures. Regarding leasing, Bill's breadth of experience includes leases that involve office, retail and industrial properties as well as triple net and ground leases.
