Will Woye is a trial attorney with more than twenty-five years of courtroom experience representing clients in complex litigation throughout Texas and across the country. Based in Houston, Texas, and practicing with Moye Law Firm, Will handles matters involving Litigation - Construction, Litigation - Insurance, Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs, Product Liability Litigation - Plaintiffs, and Transportation Law.
Over the course of his career, Will has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout Texas, including Harris, Dallas, Bexar, Travis, Midland, Ector, Reeves, Brazos, Nueces, Jefferson, Galveston, Orange, and Glasscock Counties. His experience includes catastrophic injury litigation, transportation and trucking claims, refinery and industrial accident cases, construction disputes, and product liability matters involving allegations of defective design, manufacturing, and marketing.
Will is a proud member of ABOTA and has represented clients in high-exposure litigation involving serious injuries, wrongful death claims, and complex commercial disputes. He has served as lead trial counsel in petrochemical refinery explosion cases involving multiple claimants and coordinated proceedings, as well as transportation litigation involving energy companies, interstate trucking carriers, brokers, shippers, and third-party logistics providers.
Before representing injured individuals and businesses, Will spent many years defending corporations, insurers, and major national companies in significant litigation matters. His prior defense practice included representation of companies and organizations such as Ford Motor Company, Volvo, Land Rover, Toyota, Michelin, Polaris, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell Oil Company, the Houston Astros, and Jim “Mattress Mac” McIngvale.
That background provides Will with substantial insight into how corporations, insurers, and excess insurance carriers evaluate and manage high-stakes litigation. He has extensive experience working with domestic and international insurance markets, including London and Bermuda-based carriers, in matters involving layered insurance programs and substantial exposure claims. His familiarity with insurance structures, risk evaluation, and litigation strategy allows him to effectively advocate for clients in complex injury and commercial cases.
Will has litigated matters in each of Texas’s four federal districts and has handled claims arising from oil and gas operations, industrial incidents, transportation accidents, construction projects, and defective products. His practice focuses on preparing cases for trial while helping clients navigate challenging legal disputes with clear communication and strategic advocacy.
