William E. Haines, II is an attorney with Kemp Klein in Troy, Michigan. His practice focuses on matters involving trusts and estates, elder law, and related litigation. William assists individuals, families, and business owners with legal issues involving estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate disputes, and planning for long-term care.
William earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, including the Probate and Estate Planning Section and the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section. Through his work, he regularly advises clients on matters involving Trusts and Estates, Litigation – Trusts and Estates, Elder Law, and Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships).

His practice includes guidance on estate and trust administration, Medicaid asset protection planning, probate litigation, and business organization matters. William strives to communicate clearly and respond promptly as he helps clients navigate complex legal processes.
Outside the office, William enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca. They enjoy wake surfing, visiting the Detroit Zoo, and exploring communities and outdoor destinations throughout Michigan.
