William Gagné

William Gagné is a lawyer in the labour and employment law group in Langlois Lawyers’ Montréal office.

William has a keen interest in all areas of labour and employment law, focusing his practice specifically on occupational health and safety matters, including compensation and cost allocation in matters involving workplace incidents and occupational hazard as well as offences occurring under the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) jurisdiction.

As part of his practice, he is called upon to advise and assist a variety of employers and appear before judicial and administrative bodies, such as the Court of Quebec, the Administrative Labour Tribunal and the Court of grievance arbitration, in addition to conducting research and issuing legal opinions.

Before joining Langlois Lawyers, William practised with a major labour relations organization in the area of grievance counselling and arbitration, and later joined the litigation department of the Association de la construction du Québec.
