William C. "Bubba" Head

William C. Head is Board Certified in DUI – criminal defense by NCDD.com. Mr. Head personally sponsored a national forensic science program for DUI-DWI attorneys called "Mastering Scientific Evidence in DUI-DWI Cases" in October of 1994. This effort, in turn, helped launch an even more significant DUI organization. The concept for starting the National College for DUI Defense originated with Mr. Head in 1994, when he invited other DUI book authors and lecturers to help him put together the national organization. He also started the first Internet Directory for DUI defense attorneys in 1999, www.DrunkDrivingDefense.com. He has authored or co-authored twelve books, chapters of other books, and numerous articles on criminal trial practice and DUI defense trial tactics. Mr. Head is “av” rated (highest ethical standards and level of competency) with Martindale-Hubbell and has been named to its Pre-Eminent List of Law Firms for over 15 years. His published books include 101 Ways to Avoid a Drunk Driving Conviction (1991), and the Georgia DUI Trial Practice Manual (written in 1995, but now published by Thomson/Reuters/West Publishing, annual updates from 2000-2013) co-authored with Frank T. Gomez. One recent book The DUI Book, is a manual for clients facing a DUI prosecution. In 2003, the members of the National College for DUI Defense named Mr. Head as America’s Top DUI lawyer. He has been interviewed for over 100 TV and Radio programs . He also has over 500 video clips about DUI law on the Internet.
