Bill Hendsbee, K.C., is a personal injury lawyer with more than 27 years of active practice. He has been involved in challenging work, helping people seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents, bike accidents, pedestrians hit by cars, traumatic brain injuries and other significant consequences from accident-related injuries.

Bill is currently a partner at CAM LLP in Edmonton, where he has practiced exclusively in the area of severe personal injury law for more than two decades. Before joining CAM LLP, he articled at a big Edmonton firm where he did personal injury and insurance work. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2020 (King's Counsel as of September 8, 2022).

Bill is a trained mediator, giving him valuable skills when helping his clients through interest based mediation. In addition, Bill has experience working with insurance companies, where he learned how they view the claims process and what adjusters are looking for to be able to move to settle a case. This experience helped him understand what needs to be presented in a serious negotiation on behalf of his clients.

Bill also brings leadership and proactive participation to his profession. He enjoys keeping his practice up to date by attending, speaking at and organizing continuing legal education seminars and workshops. He has also published articles for both The Barrister and Law Now magazines.

Bill also likes to be actively involved in his community by taking different roles in several organizations, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Paraplegic Association (now Spinal Cord Injury Alberta), service on the Finance and Executive Committees (2007-2013) and serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Paralympic Sports Association (2000-2007) and several roles in sports associations as the Commissioner of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC)
