Representing clients in all phases of intellectual property litigation, Bill brings extensive experience in actions filed throughout the United States. His litigation practice spans a wide range of technologies, including software, electrical and mechanical arts, computer telephony, complex electrical circuitry, robotic navigation, aviation tracking, medical monitoring, and mobile devices.
Beyond the courtroom, Bill advises clients on the procurement and strategic development of trademark and patent portfolios, with a particular focus on technology startup companies. He assists clients in developing protection strategies for core intellectual property assets and in conducting product clearance to avoid the intellectual property rights of others.
Before entering the legal profession, Bill built a strong technical foundation as a software engineer in hardware and product development at Pinnacle Systems. He also served as a network engineer at Cisco Systems while in school, gaining hands on experience with the technologies that would later become central to his legal practice.
In recognition of his professional achievements, Bill has been consistently selected for inclusion in Indiana Super Lawyers® in the field of Intellectual Property Litigation. He currently serves as Managing Partner of the Firm.
