Will Chalmers

Will Chalmers practices intellectual property law at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP. He specializes in complex patent litigation including patent infringement and validity matters. Will has particular expertise in damages matters brought under section 8 of the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations.

Will’s clients span a wide variety of industries, including the life sciences, mechanical engineering and software. He has experience in matters before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal.

Will has completed two secondments at different innovative pharmaceutical companies. He was on the teams recognized by the Canadian Law Awards 2022 for “Commercial Litigation Case of the Year – Excellence Awardee” and by LMG Life Sciences for its 2021 Impact Case of the Year.
