Wayne Fernandes is a Partner at Farris LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia, practising in the areas of family law, litigation, and civil disputes. His family law practice includes matters involving property division, child support, spousal support, parenting arrangements, and mobility issues. Wayne also assists clients with commercial and civil litigation matters.
Wayne advises individuals and families through a range of legal matters with a practical and client-focused approach. He has experience representing clients in both negotiated resolutions and contested proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and court applications.
Before joining Farris LLP, Wayne worked as a law lecturer and legal course specialist at the UBC Sauder School of Business. In that role, he lectured on and developed course materials relating to real estate law, mortgage law, local government law, and related legal topics.
Wayne has appeared before all three levels of court in British Columbia and has experience participating in alternative dispute resolution processes.
