Warren handles employee benefits law, estate planning, and employment law matters. He is particularly recognized for his work in employee benefits law and represents numerous retirement plans and retirement plan sponsors in Michigan and other states. Warren is immediate past Chair of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan, past Chair of the Great Lakes Area TE/GE Council (an IRS Employee Plans liaison group), and is a frequent author and speaker on employee benefits issues. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for his expertise in employee benefits law for 15 years and was recently named 2012 Ann Arbor Area Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law Lawyer of the Year.

When not spending time with his wife, Beth, or his three adult children and granddaughter, Warren pursues a number of other interests, chief of which is his musical training. He is a long-time saxophone student in the jazz combo program at the Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts, Ann Arbor’s non-profit community music school, where he also serves as a volunteer board member.
