While his practice includes general real estate and finance matters, Mr. Miller has had substantial experience in acquisitions and dispositions, development, construction, equity investments, debt financings, leasing, sale-leaseback, workouts, restructurings and joint ventures. Those transactions span multiple property types, such as office, retail, multifamily, student housing, industrial, hospitality, residential subdivisions and mixed-use high-density urban, including specialty classes such as medical, airport, sports arena, corporate campus, call center, telecommunication and distribution facilities, as well as multi-state portfolios of those properties. Mr. Miller represents REITs, developers, institutional advisors, investment funds and investors, sponsors, pension plans, corporate users, lenders and real estate companies of local and national scope.
A frequent speaker and author on real estate topics, Mr. Miller has published articles in national, state and local journals on numerous real estate topics. Before forming the firm, Mr. Miller practiced as a Partner in the offices of Haynes and Boone, LLP.
