Biography
Alex Lamb’s desire to help others began early in life. He spent significant time at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital while his father served as director of the Respiratory Care department. During those years, Alex observed the compassion and dedication of medical professionals assisting children and their families, which left a lasting impression on him. He volunteered where he could, including serving as a junior counselor at a summer camp for children with asthma. At the same time, Alex developed a strong interest in English literature and composition, enjoying the process of understanding different perspectives, advocating for those who struggled to speak for themselves, and helping people tell their stories. These experiences, combined with the values instilled by his parents, shaped his commitment to standing up for others.
Alex attended Saint Louis University High School, a private Jesuit college preparatory school centered on the principle of being “men for others.” He went on to attend Truman State University on a full academic scholarship, initially pursuing a Biology Pre-Med degree. While he respected the medical field, Alex realized his interests were better suited to advocacy and communication. After taking time away from school, he returned to Truman State University and changed his major to English Pre-Law. Shortly thereafter, Alex was involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 70 that resulted in the death of another driver. Although he survived, the crash led to extensive medical treatment, anxiety, and unexpected expenses. With the help of a personal injury attorney, Alex experienced firsthand how legal advocacy can support injured individuals during overwhelming circumstances.
After earning his undergraduate degree, Alex attended the University of Missouri–Columbia School of Law and also studied for one semester at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He passed the Missouri Bar Examination shortly after graduating and began his legal career at a small general practice firm in St. Charles County, Missouri. After several years of practice, Alex opened his own law firm, representing clients in a wide range of matters across St. Charles County, St. Louis County, Lincoln County, Warren County, Franklin County, and the City of St. Louis. In 2016, he met Shaun Lieser and found that Lieser Law Firm LLC shared his commitment to helping injured individuals and working people. Alex joined Lieser Law Firm LLC in December 2016, where he continues his practice in St. Louis, Missouri.
Today, Alex focuses his practice on Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants. Drawing from his own experience as an injury victim, he understands the physical, emotional, and financial challenges his clients face after an accident or workplace injury. Alex approaches each case with care, preparation, and a focus on clear communication. Outside of the office, he enjoys brewing beer and wine, listening to vintage vinyl records, spending time with family and friends, and supporting St. Louis sports teams.
