Vance Langford is a Calgary-based business lawyer and Managing Partner of Langford Law.
Vance has over 20 years' experience working with clients to structure businesses, complete financings and transactions and resolve disputes with support from counsel for securities, tax and litigation matters. Vance’s practice includes negotiating and documenting acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and other complex business transactions, particularly involving multiple jurisdictions and competition, trade and investment laws.
Vance has extensive experience and is internationally recognized for expertise in Canadian and US immigration law. Vance advises and represents Canadian and international businesses on global mobility for executives, managers and specialists. He also helps individuals and families relocate to Canada and the United States to pursue goals in education, employment, permanent residence and citizenship.
As Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association, National Immigration Law Section, Vance is highly active in advocacy, government relations and the development of Canadian immigration law and policy. He has written, presented and been interviewed extensively on immigration and business law issues.
