Valentina was raised in a close-knit family with strong ties to both the United States and Latin America. Growing up in a bilingual household, she developed an early appreciation for communication, culture, and connection – qualities that continue to shape her work with clients today.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science, along with a certificate in Legal Studies, from the University of Georgia, graduating cum laude. While completing her studies, she balanced academic responsibilities with parenting, an experience that reinforced her discipline and commitment to her goals.
Valentina went on to earn her JD from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law. During law school, she held leadership roles in student organizations and contributed significant time to pro bono efforts, including helping members of the Hispanic community access legal services.

After law school, Valentina began her legal career representing employers and insurance carriers in civil litigation and workers’ compensation matters. This experience provided insight into how claims are evaluated and defended.
