With a practice focused on electric energy regulation, Uju represents electric utilities before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Previously, as an attorney-advisor in FERC’s Office of the General Counsel, Uju prepared FERC orders analyzing and resolving issues within the PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. region, and prepared recommendations to FERC regarding energy policies. Uju also served as a Judicial Law Clerk in FERC’s Office of Administrative Law Judges (ALJ), researching and drafting administrative opinions and orders, while managing judicial proceedings for more than twenty concurrent cases before the ALJs.
Prior to joining Wright & Talisman, Uju was an associate in the energy practice of a national law firm, with a focus on energy policy and regulatory compliance. Earlier in her career, Uju served as a law clerk of an international law firm, where she gained experience in matters involving the Federal Power Act, regional transmission organization Open Access Transmission Tariffs, FERC orders and regulations, and federal case law.
