Biography
Tyler O'Reilly represents commercial banks, direct lenders, and corporate borrowers in a broad range of lending transactions. He advises community, regional, national, and global banks, as well as private lenders, on credit facilities for Commercial & Industrial borrowers. His work includes syndicated and bilateral loans; acquisition financings; asset-based lending; cash flow lines of credit; senior and subordinated term loans; bridge loans; letter of credit facilities; mezzanine debt; equipment financings; specialty loan transactions (such as aircraft financings and leveraged ESOP deals); and transactions involving unique and complex collateral like farm products, vessels, and rolling stock. Tyler's experience spans various sectors including consumer, mining, gaming and leisure, food and beverage, financial services, industrials, energy, technology, transportation, and private equity.
His extensive deal exposure from years in New York City and London equips him with a strong ability to assess key risks and negotiate favorable terms while maintaining awareness of market developments.
Apart from finance transactions, Tyler advises businesses of all sizes and their boards on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and corporate governance. He also provides counsel to investment banks on capital markets transactions, such as Rule 144A and Regulation S issuances of high-yield debt securities and initial public offerings on major stock exchanges.
Before his time at Harris Beach Murtha, Tyler honed his skills in the New York City and London offices of a global law firm. His prior experience includes representing public and private companies, as well as global financial institutions, in various capital raising transactions.
