Results MATTER — Our Track Record Speaks:*
Travis has resolved several 7-figure cases, which contributed to his lifetime selection to the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. Notable results include:
- In 2024, Travis acquired $32,000,000 in a policy limits settlement for a 71-year-old bicyclist struck by a cement truck — the #1 Bicycle Accident Settlement in California in 2024 (TopVerdict.com).
- In 2023, Travis acquired $26,000,000 for a construction worker injured through site negligence while servicing a construction elevator — the #1 Personal Injury Settlement in Los Angeles County in 2023 (TopVerdict.com).
- $22 Million bicycle accident settlement
- $20 Million premises liability settlement — Top 10 Personal Injury Settlement in the United States in 2019 (TopVerdict.com)
- $7 million premises liability settlement
- $4 Million truck accident settlement
- $1,250,000 policy limits settlement (2019) — This case had previously been handled by another law firm for several years who had offered to settle for $25,000. Within 6 months of taking over the case, Travis resolved the matter for the full $1,250,000 policy limits.
- Medical Malpractice Wrongful Death — Travis had the special opportunity to try this case with his father, Doug Easton. The case involved a doctor who violated the standard of care while performing a relatively simple lung procedure, which ultimately led to the death of the wife and mother of our clients. The defendant doctor made no settlement offer prior to trial despite his clear negligence because he had recently received a defense verdict on another malpractice case. The defense attorney had not lost a case at trial in more than 10 years. Nonetheless, after several weeks of trial, the defense conceded they were likely to lose and settled for a confidential amount that exceeded Plaintiff's pre-trial offer by a significant amount.
- $200,000 settlement for a client who came to Travis with a $24,000 offer in hand — Travis was able to increase the recovery to $200,000, nearly 10 times the original offer.
- $150,000 settlement for a motorcycle accident involving a "bullet bike" where the insurance company initially denied liability.

Q&A
Why settle for less when you can have a top-rated, award-winning legal team who achieves Proven #1 Highest Settlements for their clients?
At Easton & Easton, we are paladins of the legal profession — determined advocates of noble causes. When you hire us, you don't just get one attorney — you get our entire family. With more than 100 years of combined experience, we have recovered more than $500 million for our clients, including more than $75 million last year alone.
I love any case that has a compelling story. I love being able to tell an interesting story to a jury or to an insurance adjuster in our settlement demand — it's what makes this job worthwhile. My job is to listen to you, hear you, and ensure you know you're not alone. It's really scary going through something like a car accident or any situation where you're injured and being on your own, not knowing what you're going to do or how you're going to fix it. That's why we're here.
We prepare every case from day one as if we're going to trial — and insurance companies know it.
Clients most often ask: "Will this cost me anything?" and "What is my case worth?"
Our answer to the first is simple: No fee unless we win. You pay nothing upfront.
The second question requires more discussion. Every case is unique, but we've built our reputation on turning seemingly modest cases into significant recoveries. One client came to me with a $24,000 offer in hand — I was able to increase that to $200,000. Another case had been handled by a different law firm for years who offered to settle for $25,000. Within 6 months of taking it over, I resolved it for the full $1,250,000 policy limits.
We also help clients understand that we handle everything: medical bills, insurance companies, car repairs, and all the paperwork. Our job is to give you peace of mind so you can focus on getting better.
One of my most memorable cases was having the special opportunity to try a medical malpractice wrongful death case with my father, Doug Easton.
The case involved a doctor who violated the standard of care while performing a relatively simple lung procedure, which ultimately led to the death of a wife and mother. The defendant doctor made no settlement offer prior to trial despite his clear negligence — he had recently received a defense verdict on another malpractice case and felt invincible. The defense attorney who represented him had not lost a case at trial in more than 10 years.
Nonetheless, after several weeks of trial, the defense conceded they were likely to lose and ultimately settled for a confidential amount that exceeded our pre-trial offer by a significant amount.
Trying that case alongside my father — learning from him, strategizing with him — was an experience I'll never forget. It embodied everything our firm stands for: family working together to fight for justice.*
*Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every case is different and must be evaluated on its own merits.
The most challenging aspect of personal injury law is that we're almost always fighting Goliaths — large insurance companies and corporations with unlimited resources whose sole objective is to pay injured victims as little as possible.
These defendants will spend millions defending a case rather than fairly compensating someone they've harmed. The challenge is leveling that playing field through relentless preparation and investigation.
I once took over a case that another law firm had handled for years — they offered to settle for $25,000. Within 6 months, I resolved it for the full $1,250,000 policy limits. The difference was preparation, strategy, and refusing to accept less than what the client deserved.
Every case has a story. The challenge is uncovering it when defendants are working just as hard to keep it buried.
I had the privilege of watching my dad represent people who had been injured when I was a teenager. One specific case stayed with me — he represented a young boy about my age who didn't have the proper equipment when he was playing hockey and suffered a pretty severe brain injury.
I remember my dad telling me about this case and thinking, "Man, if that was me, I would be really glad to have someone like my dad trying to get compensation and trying to get the help that I needed so that hopefully I could have a better life and get better."
Ever since then, I've had this idea that helping injured people is what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I've gotten to see firsthand what a settlement or a verdict can do to a person's life, and I realized that's what I wanted to do forever.
I love spending time with my wife Whitney and our two children, Will and Juliet. One of my favorite things is going golfing on weekend nights with my son — I love watching him run around and try to hit the ball. We have a great time.
I also love to participate in all types of sports and outdoor activities, including basketball, softball, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and waterskiing. I'm an Eagle Scout and continue to have a strong commitment to serving others — I volunteered during law school as a basketball coach for youth in my church congregation and continue to serve in my church in many different capacities.
When people ask what it's like working with my family, they often expect me to say it's a nightmare. It's actually the complete opposite. We go to lunch every day. We have Sunday dinners. We talk about cases. We do everything together. The three oldest brothers golf when we can. It's one of the greatest joys and happiness of our life to get to do something we love together.
Like my father and brothers, I took two years off from college to serve as a missionary for my church in Tijuana, Mexico. While serving the people there, I fell in love with the Hispanic culture and the people who so warmly welcomed me into their lives. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for serving others — and it's what drives me every day as an attorney.
If a client asked me the perfect path for their case, I would tell them: get representation from Easton & Easton right after your accident, before any problems can arise. I help people by answering their questions — both initially when we first start representing them and throughout the case. I listen to you so I can understand your problems and help you deal with them.
