Travis Hunt

Travis Hunt has built a name for himself as an emerging commercial litigator who also handles environmental and other regulatory matters.

Travis’s practice spans complex civil litigation, appeals, administrative proceedings, environmental components of transactions, and project development matters. He has worked for a wide range of clients, from energy and utility companies to Native American tribes and individuals. Travis is well-versed in environmental issues, property law, contract disputes, professional liability, torts, and state and federal constitutional matters. He excels at distilling arguments in motions, briefs, and at oral argument to further the interests of his clients. He also enjoys building records through discovery and depositions and handling all aspects of trials, hearings, and appeals.

Before joining Osborn Maledon, Travis worked at an international energy law firm based in Houston, Texas where he represented clients in state and federal court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings on class action, environmental, energy, and regulatory matters. Like now, his practice spanned both litigation and the environmental side of transactions.

Travis graduated with highest honors from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he served as Editor-In-Chief of the BYU Law Review. Before starting his practice, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable G. Murray Snow of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and to the Honorable Scott Matheson, Jr. of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
