Trae A. Norton

Trae Norton has been with RMP LLP since 2015, joining the firm as an associate attorney in 2016 and becoming a partner in 2021. Based in Springdale, Arkansas, his practice centers on Elder Law and Trusts and Estates, including guardianships, probate estate administration, trust administration, estate planning, special needs planning, long-term care and Medicaid planning, asset protection, and related civil litigation matters. Trae works with individuals and families across Northwest Arkansas to address planning needs, court proceedings, and ongoing legal responsibilities. An Arkansas native, Trae earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, cum laude, from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith in 2011, followed by his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville in 2015. Before joining RMP LLP, he practiced law in Fayetteville and served as an attorney for the Arkansas Department of Human Services in Boone, Baxter, Marion, and Newton Counties. In that role, he represented DHS in child welfare and adult protective services matters, experience that informs his current work in Elder Law, Trusts and Estates, and related planning and administration matters.
