Tom Moutsatsos

Tom Moutsatsos is a senior litigator at Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. He is experienced in the full range of employment and labour issues affecting employers, with an emphasis on civil litigation. Tom advises clients on a variety of employment and labour matters including executive employment and compensation matters, acquisitions, terminations, injunctions, human rights, collective agreement administration, policy development and discipline and discharge.

Tom regularly acts as employer counsel before arbitrators and administrative tribunals and has represented employers before all levels of the courts of Ontario. He has a great deal of experience advising and representing employers in the financial, insurance, school board, energy, gaming, manufacturing and airline sectors.

Tom makes a point of developing connections with his clients and putting in the time and effort required to gain a comprehensive understanding of their businesses. He takes a practical approach to problem-solving and he examines and explains all sides to provide his clients with complete transparency.

Tom frequently speaks at conferences and has been invited to speak on a number of occasions by the Conference Board of Canada on various employment matters. When he’s not in court, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, getting involved in outdoor activities and escaping the cold by travelling to warmer climates.
