Todd Friedland brings more than 25 years of complex commercial litigation experience to his work representing clients in high-stakes business disputes. Known for his strategic approach, practical judgment, and leadership in the Orange County legal community, Todd helps clients pursue solutions aligned with their business objectives.
His practice focuses on commercial litigation and strategic counseling, including disputes involving corporate governance, fiduciary duties, complex contracts, manufacturing issues, trade secrets, unlawful business practices, business torts, and real estate matters. Todd works closely with clients to develop litigation strategies that reflect both the legal issues at stake and the broader business considerations involved.
Todd has held several prominent leadership roles in the legal community. He previously served as President of the Orange County Bar Association in 2016, President of the Orange County Bar Association Charitable Fund in 2017, and President of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Orange County, in 2020.
He has also received significant professional recognition. Todd has been named among the Top 50 Attorneys in Orange County by Orange Coast Magazine from 2018 through 2025, included among the Top 100 Attorneys in Southern California in 2025, selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® from 2015 through 2025, and recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers from 2011 through 2026. Before joining FBFK Law, Todd co-founded the business litigation boutique Stephens Friedland LLP. Earlier in his career, he practiced with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, a multinational law firm.
