Trial attorney Todd Walburg has been handling personal injury, product liability and mass torts claims for almost two decades. He is currently the partner in charge of Cutter Law, P.C.'s Oakland office.
Todd graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in San Francisco, California. Before joining Cutter Law, P.C., Todd was a partner at the nationally-ranked plaintiffs' law firm of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, where he was the chair of the firm's Auto and Transportation Cases Practice Group. When he joined Cutter Law, Todd focused his practice on individual cases involving people who have been seriously injured or have lost a loved one as the result of corporate misconduct or individual negligence.
Todd has extensive experience handling automobile defect cases involving a wide range of issues such as seat belt, airbag and tire failures; fuel system fires; vehicle rollovers; software and hardware defects; sudden acceleration; transmission and engine defects; carbon monoxide poisoning; and vehicle crashworthiness issues. He also has a great interest in cases involving the environment and toxic torts, such as pesticide and herbicide exposure.
Although he meets with local clients at Cutter Law's Oakland, California office, Todd handles cases from across the US. He represents clients involved in a variety of product liability, negligence, personal injury, and wrongful death claims. In each case he manages, Todd is motivated by a desire to seek justice for regular people who are taken advantage of by powerful corporations and insurance companies.
Todd has been recognized by his peers for his outstanding work, being named to Super Lawyers in Northern California from 2014 to 2018 and being named to the Rising Stars list for Northern California from 2010 to 2013. Todd lives in Moraga, California with his wife, son and two daughters. In his free time, he volunteers as a trial attorney for the Bar Association of San Francisco's Eviction Defense Project. He has also given numerous keynote presentations on a variety of legal issues and is involved in many professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and Consumer Attorneys of California.
