Tobias Jäger

Tobias Jäger is a partner at POELLATH in Munich.

At POELLATH, Tobias became an expert on classic M&A/private equity and venture capital transactions and has continuously expanded his practice in the restructuring and reorganization of companies. Today, he heads the firm‘s restructuring and bankruptcy practice.

He finds reliable solutions on a legally substantiated basis for special situations, joint ventures and distressed transactions and has extensive experience in corporate, commercial and bankruptcy law.

He is the host of POELLATH's Frankfurt Insolvency and M&A Forum (FIMA). This event attracts more than 200 participants, who discuss the latest developments with regard to distressed M&A, insolvency law and restructuring.

He is a lecturer at the University Muenster for postgraduate studies since 2012 and publishes regularly in his areas of expertise.

Tobias joined POELLATH in 2011. Previously, he was an associate in a major German law firm. He admitted to the bar in 2010 and has work experience in Boston/USA (2009). He studied law at the Universities of Tuebingen and Munich.
