Timothy R. Koval is a partner at Hutchison & Steffen PLLC in Las Vegas, Nevada. His practice includes Commercial Litigation, Insurance Law, Real Estate Law, corporate and commercial transactions, asset protection, business planning, and business disputes. Tim represents businesses, business owners, and other clients in a variety of transactional and litigation matters. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada.
Raised in Incline Village, Nevada, Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno, and his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During law school, he served as an extern for District Judge Larry R. Hicks of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. He also served as a mediator for the Clark County Neighborhood Justice Center and as an articles editor for the Nevada Law Journal.
After graduating from law school, Tim joined Hutchison & Steffen PLLC as an associate. Since then, he has advised and represented clients in business transactions, real estate matters, commercial disputes, insurance matters, and other business-related legal issues. Tim became a partner of the firm in 2022.
