Tim Tarr is an attorney with Cheney, Galluzzi & Howard Law Firm in Denver, Colorado. His practice focuses on Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs, where he represents individuals who have been harmed by the negligence of others. Tim joined CGH in 2025 after more than a decade working in plaintiff-focused personal injury matters, first beginning in the field in 2013 and practicing as a personal injury attorney since 2017.
Tim handles personal injury matters at both the pre-litigation and litigation stages. His legal background also includes experience in criminal defense, general civil litigation, and liquor licensing. This diverse foundation provides valuable perspective when evaluating complex legal issues and advocating for clients in Colorado courts.
While attending the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, Tim developed a strong interest in trial advocacy. He competed in multiple trial competitions and served as a member of the school’s National Trial Team. During law school, he received a Best Advocate Award and was a Finalist in the 2017 McGeorge School of Law National Ethics Competition.
Since entering practice, Tim has represented clients in both civil and criminal courtrooms, building substantial courtroom and litigation experience. In his personal injury practice, he works closely with clients to help them understand their legal options and navigate the legal system during what can be an extremely difficult time following an injury.
A Colorado native, Tim is proud to serve the Denver community and individuals throughout the state. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time in the Rocky Mountains with his wife and two children, following hometown sports teams, and taking advantage of Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle.
