Tim Matheny is Managing Partner of Peckar & Abramson PC’s Dallas, Texas office. His practice is focused on Construction Law, Government Contracts, and Litigation – Construction, with an emphasis on construction disputes and complex litigation matters. Tim advises clients throughout all phases of public procurement, including bid and proposal preparation, contract award disputes, performance-related issues, and contract claims. He approaches each matter with practical judgment and a direct style that aligns legal strategy with client business objectives.
Tim is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His certification reflects a sustained commitment to construction-related legal matters and familiarity with the regulatory and contractual issues affecting the construction industry in Texas and beyond.
Before entering private practice, Tim served in the Air Force JAG Corps, an experience that informs his work with clients doing business with federal, state, and local governmental entities.
