Biography
Dr Thomas Schröer, a partner at FPS since 1999 and a specialist lawyer for administrative law, has advised on major construction and planning projects since 1992. He supports project developers, contractors, and municipalities on complex developments—including high-rise buildings, administrative centres, shopping centres, and land development—handling process structuring, coordination, and negotiations with all stakeholders.
Dr Schröer is a regular contributor to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, co-editor of the Neue Zeitschrift für Verwaltungsrecht (NVwZ), and a lecturer at the Institute for Urban Design in Berlin. He has appeared as an expert on TV programmes such as ‘Murks in Germany’ and ‘Baustelle Bürokratie’. Additionally, he chairs the annual general meeting of SV Darmstadt 98 and serves on the Hessian Ministry of Economics’ ‘Innovation in Construction’ commission, which recently proposed reforms to the Hessian Building Code.
