Thomas Bredar focuses his practice on complex litigation matters in trial and appellate courts, government enforcement actions, congressional and internal investigations, corporate governance, and high-stakes crisis management. Mr. Bredar also advises clients on public policy matters and political activities, with a particular focus on election, campaign finance, and government ethics law.
Mr. Bredar regularly represents companies, boards, and individuals in litigation and investigations involving the DOJ, SEC, CFPB, FEC, and state attorney general offices. He has experience in a wide range of substantive areas, including administrative and constitutional law, antitrust, consumer protection, the False Claims Act, healthcare regulation, government contracts, higher education, and securities law. Mr. Bredar also maintains an active pro bono practice in the areas of criminal justice, immigration, and antidiscrimination law.
