Thomas J. “Tom” Culhane is a senior partner in the litigation practice group at Erickson Sederstrom in Omaha, Nebraska. His practice focuses on Bet-the-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Insurance Law, Litigation - Construction, and Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants. He represents businesses, insurers, contractors, and other clients in complex disputes in state and federal courts.
Mr. Culhane graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University School of Law. Following graduation and prior to joining Erickson Sederstrom in 1975, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Donald P. Lay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Nebraska and Iowa, the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Over the course of his career, Mr. Culhane has handled a broad range of litigation matters, with a significant emphasis on commercial and construction-related disputes.
Mr. Culhane is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for his litigation work.
