Thomas Brook is a business lawyer in Calgary, Alberta, with a practice focused on Tax Law and indirect tax matters. He advises Canadian and international businesses on domestic and international tax planning, corporate structuring, and Canadian tax issues.
Thomas works with clients and their advisers to address tax disputes involving the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and provincial tax authorities. His practice includes advising clients during tax audits, assisting U.S., European, and other foreign corporations with the application of Canadian tax law, and advising employers on compensation and benefits for cross-border executives.
