Ted Schmidt is the managing partner of Tucson's leading Plaintiffs' Serious Injury and Wrongful Death law firm--Schmidt, Sethi & Akmajian. Recognized as one of the very best in medical negligence, products liability and personal injury, Mr. Schmidt is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a member of the inaugural class of State Bar Certified Specialists in Injury and Wrongful Death and chaired the committee that certified such lawyers for over 10 years. Mr. Schmidt has obtained multiple multi million dollar awards in cases ranging from a defective boat engine ($9 million), a defective tire ($4.5 million) insurance bad faith ($4.5 million) and medical negligence ($4 million). Consequently, most of Mr. Schmidt's cases presently settle short of trial.
