Taylor Johnson is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Employment Practice Group. Taylor helps clients navigate state and federal employment laws and regulations including the ADA, Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, and related state laws. Taylor is experienced in responding to discrimination and retaliation charges brought before the Maine Human Rights Commission, Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights.
Taylor is adept in conducting internal investigations and frequently provides in-house harassment and discrimination training for employees and managers at multi-state clients.
In addition to assisting employers with a wide variety of employment law matters, including severance agreements, employee handbooks, employment agreements, training, and performance management, Taylor has obtained favorable results for clients in disputes related to such laws including in pre-litigation negotiation and mediation, agency proceedings, and litigation.
Taylor also regularly advises clients in the manufacturing and construction sector on compliance with state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) matters. He represents employers’ interests in citations and whistleblower investigations under federal OSHA and state plans across the country.
